Apostolic Exarchate

Apostolic Exarchate

The Apostolic Exarchate unites Catholics of the Byzantine rite (Greek Catholics) living in the Czech Republic. The exarchate was established on 15th March 1996 by the bull of Pope John Paul II.

There are some 7,675 Greek-Catholics living in the Czech Republic, united in 25 parishes and 19 affiliates. They are under the care of 28 priests.
